Just for Twos

(2 years old as of September 1^st of the calendar year)

• Morning session (2 days)—Tuesday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday OR Wednesday/Thursday (9 AM to 11:30 AM)
• Afternoon Session (2 days)—Tuesday/Thursday (12:30 PM to 3 PM)
• Optional lunch hour (11:30 AM to 12:30 PM)
• Children entering the “Just for Twos” class are not expected to be toilet trained.
• Please note that the “Just for Twos” class offerings are subject to change, depending on enrollment.

The primary purpose of the “Just for Twos” class is to teach a child to separate comfortably from his parents or caregivers, to be happy in the time that he spends at preschool and to know that his parents/caregivers return at a given time.

We follow a daily routine that includes free play, circle time, bike room, music, arts and crafts, stories and games.  We learn about weather, colors, numbers (1-5) and shapes.  We also learn about our senses with a variety of activities that are both age appropriate and entertaining.

In addition to learning to separate comfortably, our goals for the twos include learning to have and to be a friend, learning to follow simple directions and safety rules.

There is no such thing as a “terrible two!”
