The 3 year-old classroom environment is formatted to encourage interaction and cooperation among the children.  Sharing, using manners, developing listening skills and following directions are all key elements of the program.  The children learn to incorporate all of these behaviors while discovering and experiencing colors, numbers and shapes.  The children also develop name recognition and use several types of writing utensils (crayons, paint brushes, pencils, markers, etc.).  They learn to use scissors.  The children also enjoy songs, stories, arts and crafts.  Most importantly, the 3 year-old program initiates the social and academic beginnings of a school environment.
