CHILDREN AND WORSHIP

This worship service, which runs concurrently with the 8:30 and 11:00 worship services, quietly takes the four year olds, kindergarteners, first graders, and second graders through a service that they can understand and appreciate. This worship service takes place in the Common Ground area beneath the Fellowship Hall.

The service follows the adult order of worship and involves a storyteller. This worship service is designed to prepare our younger church goers for a lifelong faith journey. It uses “Young Children at Worship”, based on Montessori methodology using hallmark biblical stories.
